Relax on a hot summer afternoon with a fresh leafy salad, topped with sweet strawberries and Honey Pot’s balsamic dressing! Great for a snack or a shareable dish with friends at a BBQ!
1 LB Mixed Greens
2 Cups Sliced Fresh Strawberries
⅓ Cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
½ Cup Crumbled Feta Cheese
1 Cup Toasted Slivered Almonds
Honey Balsamic Reduction
(5 – 10 mg Servings)
1 Cup Balsamic Vinegar
¼ Cup Honey Pot Honey (50mg)
To make balsamic reduction, place balsamic vinegar in a small nonreactive saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer. Cook for about 15 minutes until reduced by about half. Add Honey Pot and cook until the mixture is very thick. Similar to the consistency of honey. Remove from heat.
To make salad, mix strawberries and greens in a bowl or serving platter. Drizzle olive oil and balsamic reduction over salad. Scatter the cheese and almonds on top.
